1. Information We Collect

We collect your email address when you create an account, payment information processed securely through Stripe, and the analysis results generated from your uploaded contracts.

2. Document Processing

We do NOT store your uploaded PDF files. Documents are processed in memory and discarded immediately after analysis. The extracted text from your contract is sent to Anthropic's Claude AI for analysis. Only the generated analysis results (risk scores, clause summaries, and recommendations) are saved to your account.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your email is used for account authentication and important service communications. Analysis results are stored so you can access your past reviews. Payment information is processed by Stripe and never stored on our servers.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate ClauseCheck:

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — processes contract text for analysis. Subject to Anthropic's usage policies.
• Supabase — provides authentication and database services.
• Stripe — processes payments securely.
• Vercel — hosts the application.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only shared with the service providers listed above as necessary to operate the service.

6. Data Retention

Your account information and analysis results are retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support@clausecheck.com.
